From Analysis to Community: Rawafid Creates Space for Validation and Participation

As part of the Rawafid Project, community validation sessions were conducted to review the findings of the conflict analysis in Qamishli and Sweida, with two sessions held in each area and the participation of women and men representing diverse segments of the local communities.
The sessions brought together youth, activists, community leaders, and women in a shared space to review the analysis findings, discuss the extent to which they reflect the realities of local communities, and contribute the knowledge and experiences of people from each area.
Beyond validating the research findings, the sessions provided an opportunity to listen to diverse local perspectives and better understand different views on the drivers, dynamics, and impacts of conflict. This participatory approach contributes to developing a more comprehensive analysis that is grounded in local contexts.
At Rawafid, we believe that conflict analysis cannot be complete without meaningful community participation. Local knowledge is not only a source of information; it is an essential component of understanding realities on the ground and informing steps that are more responsive to the specific context and needs of each community.
