Agora
Project Start Date: October 4, 2024
Simulating the First Space Similar to a Parliament in Ancient Greece — aims to empower activists by enhancing their knowledge and skills in women’s constitutional, political, and gender-oriented governance issues. It seeks to promote a parliamentary culture in Syria and strengthen networking among women activists across different tracks to support sustainable peace and security.
The project operates in Northeast Syria (NES) and Sweida, equipping activists with the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary for active political participation, advocating for gender equality, and contributing to peacebuilding. It focuses on empowering women, advancing parliamentary culture, and improving governance through effective networking and advocacy.
