Building and empowering a network of women journalists

The aim of the project is to create and empower a women’s network that will:
- Allow other new platforms and initiatives to join the network in the future.
- Empower women through trainings and awareness-building activities on gender-sensitive issues and women’s rights.
- Publish media products (videos, reports, press stories, and photos) for women working in various platforms.
- Contribute to providing job opportunities for women who have received previous training in creating media content.
Project results:
- 50 women attended a 10-day workshop on the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women and Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security, with a focus on the local context.
