DAR Launches “NAWA” Project for Eco-Friendly Agriculture
As part of its efforts to support local farmers and promote sustainable agriculture, DAR Organization has launched the “NAWA” project. The initiative aims to empower agricultural workers and encourage healthy and sustainable local production by providing organic seeds and training on regenerative farming techniques that preserve natural resources and enhance food security in the region.
Key Project Activities:
- Practical training on eco-friendly farming conducted in collaboration with international experts from the “Buzurna Juzurna” organization, enabling farmers to adopt more efficient and sustainable agricultural practices.
- Awareness campaigns featuring documentary screenings on the importance of sustainable agricultural practices, attended by farmers, civil society representatives, and agricultural experts.
- Open discussions and experience-sharing sessions on practical and sustainable methods for agricultural development and self-sufficiency.
