Enhancing Debate Skills for Positive Change: The Agora Project
Through a series of specialized training activities focused on knowledge and skills, participants were equipped with the ability to conduct debates according to professional standards. These standards encompassed content, performance, and thematic issues that reflect the Syrian reality and align with goals aimed at achieving positive change.
The debate activity was part of the “Agora” project, which seeks to promote a culture of accepting diverse opinions and building arguments to advocate for ideas. Four debates were organized in different areas, including Deir Ezzor (Al-Kasrah and Hajin), Raqqa (Tabqa city), and Hasakah (Markadah). A total of 32 debaters participated in these activities, with each team consisting of six participants, alongside a judge and a facilitator for each debate.
