Parliamentary Empowerment for Women and Youth: A Workshop to Enhance Legislative and Oversight Competencies

DAR Organization concluded a workshop titled “Parliamentary Empowerment for Women and Youth” as part of the Agora Project. The workshop aimed to prepare a cadre of participants capable of engaging in parliamentary work by enhancing their legislative and oversight understanding.

The workshop covered various topics, including ideologies and political parties, the importance and functions of parliament, and mechanisms for drafting laws and monitoring government performance. It also featured practical sessions for analyzing draft laws and discussing anti-corruption tools.

A total of 32 participants (13 females and 19 males) took part in the workshop. They stood out for their high level of engagement and creative ideas, reflecting their enthusiasm and commitment to advancing parliamentary work.
